To get around a social media ban, an Australian influencer family relocates to the UK.
Due to Australia's impending social media ban for children under 16, Beck and Bec Lea are relocating their family to the UK.
In order to avoid their home country's social media ban for under-16s, which goes into effect in December, an Australian family with millions of online fans is moving to the UK.
The four members of the "Empire Family"—mothers Beck and Bec Lea, their 17-year-old son Prezley, and their 14-year-old daughter Charlotte—all share videos of their everyday lives online.
The family stated in a post that they use the internet "for good" and that their daughter will be able to continue creating content now that they are in the UK.
Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X, and YouTube will have to take "reasonable steps" to stop users under the age of 16 from creating accounts and to deactivate those that already exist as a result of Australia's ban, which is billed as a first for the world.

"We use the internet for good, but we understand that it is protecting young people from harm on the internet." "We are not naïve to the fact that there are young people who are negatively impacted by social media."
