"Calm down" is Larsa Pippen's response to remarks regarding her altered appearance.

After responding to a doctor who accused her of using "excessive facial filler," the Real Housewives of Miami star told fans to "relax," sharing what she says is the cause of her recent "swollen" appearance.

Larsa Pippen is responding to rumours that she has changed the way she looks. The Real Housewives of Miami star retaliated against Dr. Mai Kaga, a doctor who practices aesthetic and concierge medicine, on Friday after the doctor expressed her opinions about Larsa's apparent recent physical makeover and criticised what she called "filler gone wrong."

Her transformation is epitomized by gaping changes in her facial structure as she moves from looking beautiful to overstuffed. Kaga has been reviewing Larsa’s videos and has seen the aftermath of her lopsided fillers and face lifting surgeries. Her recent plastic surgery face cartooned over her cheeks serves as a reminder to sanity that face plastic surgeries entails serious consequences. Even with limitless resources, picking the appropriate injector is faith. Larsa has not provided her fillers with adequate medical history to balance with her crap nose. It is hard to maintain sanity, especially for a young 51-year-old. This is the reason a lot of middle aged housewives have turned to fillers and face lopsided surgeries. Doing all of that and looking as radiant as Larsa is a dream for many, went effortless for Larsa.

“Chill out,” they had PRP and had an allergic reaction–“she wrote,” she continued.

In a video posted to her stories this past Friday, the Peacock star reinforced her prior statements regarding the injections being the allergies that cause her face to swell. Larsa, who was in a black bikini and denim jeans, mirrored the outfit while filming to say “Calm Down.”

“Hey guys, you can relax,” Larsa states. “I had PRP on my face a couple days ago, so my face was a bit swollen. Looks like it’s coming down. So, you guys can just calm down.”

According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, “a patient’s own blood cells to accelerate healing in a specific area,” PRP injections became widely accepted due to their effectiveness and relatively low risk. PRP injections, like other injections, are considered low risk, especially in skin PRP, due to the “much lower” risk of allergic reaction and with PRP injections, johns hopkins states.

In response to Larsa’s comment, Dr. Mai Kaga pointed out this while commenting in her video.

"Double board certified physician here AKA Honey,” she wrote. “Allergic reactions to PRP are extremely rare. You simply will not find allergies to your own blood cells all that common. Second – allergic reactions don't last 3 seasons on a streaming network."

“Honestly, this post was not about Larsa, but about cautioning the current and future generations about being over treated and overfilled, unnecessarily and covering up your own natural features that make you uniquely beautiful,” Kaga added.

“If even one person can learn from us pointing out what being overfilled looks like, it’s worth this weakass clap back,” she added.

Before moving on to the larger topic she wanted to discuss, Kaga mentioned Larsa’s comment in a reaction video.

"As much as she is going in asking for these treatments, there is somebody who is saying yes, and they shouldn’t be,’” She explained, “Taking advantage of people and money is wrong, especially when they seek help - that is not a good injector, that is a salesperson. What you want is someone who is going to say, ‘That’s not for you,’ and guide you gently towards, ‘That’s not what you really are going to be looking for. Let me help you towards this’.”

“Preserving and enhancing her beauty is what, ‘She obviously has a ton of natural beauty,’ and that’s what we should be trying to do,” she continued.

How much of these transformations she approves, Kaga explained, is to “keep and protect our current generations of young women and young men who really want to go and get taken advantage of and have all this filler and treatments and end up destroying their faces that are, in fact, very beautiful, anatomically and naturally.”

In what is probably her first appearance for the show, she is recorded addressing the rumors for the first time.

During the 2022 reunion for Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Miami, she dismissed speculation surrounding a supposed BBL, admitting instead to having a breast augmentation, lip fillers, and rhinoplasty.
